So last night we trooped the midnight release of Battlefront 3 at Best Buy! Chase had play practice so I thought I was on my own… until Kevin ended up staying with us last night. Yay! I was going to put him in Luke, but he arrived at my house with a big fuzzy beard. So I pulled the jedi out for him to wear. Unfortunately the belt was MIA and I didn’t have time to dig for it. So he had to make due with a little leather strip LOL. He also had a hard time keeping the cummerbund in place without the belt, which caused the tabards to get out of place, so he constantly looked like a sloppy Jedi the entire night.
Me and Kev:
About halfway through the event I really started to regret wearing Hoth Leia instead of ANH! My feet were aching and I can’t sit down easily in Hoth (due to the non-stretch! See last blog entry.) Kevin was also fading, but at least he could kneel down and rest… which he did, repeatedly.
We actually made it til midnight though. Hooray!
